Why we must Oppose the UN Religious Defamation Resolution:
In Britain in the 1500s Protestant Christians were burned at the stake imprisoned and tortured for having the audacity to want to read the Bible in their own tongue, this was done in the name of religion the Roman Catholic Religion, in the last year hundreds of Christians in the middle east and Asia have been butchered and mutilated in the name of religion predominantly Islam. Children have been beheaded charity workers have been killed pastors and priests have all been victims of violence.
A couple were arrested for witnessing to a Muslim woman and their business was ruined by a government boycott, a Pakistani Muslim convert to Christianity was beaten and threatened with further violence by a Muslim gang. Where did these events take place? Pakistan? Saudi Arabia?
perhaps Turkey?
No they took place in England, moderate tolerant England.... the attack against the Pakistani man was carried out in the name of Islam the complaint against the Christian couple was made by a Muslim woman.
The UN resolution on religious defamation is being pushed on the world by the sinister OIC a coalition of Islamic states, their agenda is anti Semitic anti Christ and anti freedom of religion. They want to pass into international law a resolution that would make the criticism of religion illegal, so called hate legislation in the UK is being used already to restrict the preaching of the gospel.
If this resolution is passed it would be far easier for national governments to pass oppressive legislation that would criminalize religious debate and even the preaching of the gospel. Time is short we must preach the gospel in season and out of season and pray that wicked men in power are vanquished by King Jesus!
